Spyros Arotis

Spyros Arotis graduated from the Law Faculty of the Aristotle University of Thessaloniki (Greece) and was admitted to the Cyprus Bar in 1981. He has been registered to the Nicosia Bar Association since 1981.

From 1993 to 2003 he was the Spokesman for the President of the Republic of Cyprus late Glafkos Clerides and at times he took over the position of Government Spokesman. At the same time during 1994-1995 he was the General Secretary of General Secretariat for Youth.

In 1998 the President of Greece Costantinos Stephanopoulos named Mr Spyros Arotis Commander of the Order of Honour by awarding him the relevant badge.

He is a member of the Nicosia Bar Association and of the Cyprus Bar Association

Elena Aroti

Elena Aroti is a graduate of the Law Faculty of the University of Bristol (LLB Hons) (U.K.) and after completing the Bar Vocational Course she was called to the Degree of an Utter Barrister by the Honourable Society of Gray’s Inn, of which she is a member.

She has been a member of the Nicosia Bar Association and of the Cyprus Bar Association since 2006.

Since February 2016 she is an Arbitrator appointed by the Deputy Commisioner of the Co-Operative Societies.

Apart from practicing the legal profession, she is also part- time teaching Business Law, International Business Law, Legal & Regulatory Framework and Media Law at a college in Nicosia.
